Mathematics Tricks and Fun

 Mathematics tricks and Fun

This is a website on simplified mathematics steps using Vedic mathematics from the book written by jagadguru Swami Sri Bharathi Krishna Thirtha Maharaj.

My interest in Vedic mathematics was kindled by Bhaskaracharya Leelavati book, which I got as a gift from my elder sister. Then on I have collected a few books by different authors on Vedic mathematics.
One day while multiplying with certain numbers especially number 9, I stumbled upon some patterns which will help children to quickly solve
the problems and kindle their interest in further reading. For that matter, my interest in mathematics was lit up by my late father Baban M.Shet, though I failed to answer his random questioning of multiplication table. It is my nature not to take failures lying down. I used to score 100% marks in all maths examinations.
So I want to start the spark in children. They can take it as carrier or hobby. There are great mathematicians who were judges and had maths as hobby.
Ramanujan didn't enjoy proper schooling since he used to fail in other subjects .I myself am in medical profession but found time to nurture my
passion for mathematics. All statistical work for my research projects I loved to do often putting me and publishers in trouble. So I started my
blog and published original research work which several people have red already.
In this website I wish to include short articles on mathematicians and also different numbers like no 9,Fibonacci series, Lucas number and
such interesting maths related articles lying scattered here and there. Maths and reasoning, analytical skill and maths and intuition I will be providing links to further reading also.
There will be links to my you tube channel as well for your use.

In this, the first question is  9 times 9.working base is 10 . So complement of 9 from 10 is 1.   1×1 is 1 and  9-1 is 8. The answer is 81.2nd example is 7× 6 , so complement of  7 from 10 is 3. Complement of 6 is 4 so we will write 7-3× by 6-4 so ,3×4 is 12 and 7-4,is 3 .Adding the carry overs answer is 42.  Rest all examples are with different bases ie  100,1000 base  done in the similar way. ...
