In all these , we are multiplying two digits with one 9 so there is one extra digit that is in 22 x 9 Here one 2 is extra. In 11 x 9 , one 1 is extra. So, that extra digit’s place s taken by 9 and it is occupying the middle. 11×9 answer is 099. 22 x 9 answer is 198, 44 x 9 answer is 396. 33 x 9 answer is 297 .
