12-lesson-mathsTricksandFun-cube solution

Today we are going to study the methods to find cube of numbers.I am Dr Prema B Sejekan. Cube of a number is the product of multiplying by itself thrice. Though there are different methods three methods ie Anurupya sutra yavadunam sutra, and method to find the cube of same digit numbers is discussed in these lessons on cubing

We should keep ourselves ready with the square and cube of unit digits for a quick solving of the cubes. Here I have noted down the squaring and cubing of commonly used digits.
Cubing by Anurupya Sutra is the topic to study here.algebraic explanation in this is a+b whole cubed is equal to A3 3a2b 3ab2 and b3. This is used to find cube of 2 digits .
In finding cube of a number, first
find the number of digits in the question and 3/(3-1)times this  will be the number of digits in the answer and
when first digit is 1,2,3 this m be
3-1/-2 times these digits , in the answer.
Mark the expected digits in the answer as dots

Cube of 12   Here first find out how many digits ,there are 6 digits in the question so the answer will have 4 or 5 digits since starts with 1. NowAnurupya sutra code is A3 3 a2b , 3ab2 and b3. 13, 3× 1×1×2, ,
3 ×2×2×1 and 2,3. Ie 1 , 6, 12,8 .Adding the carry overs we get 1728
Here we have to find the cube of 24 .so 6 digits in question and first digit is 2 Then answer should have 4 or 5 digits..we can find a2b and ab2 value first then multiply it with 3 in the second step. Thus 8 , 3×16,3×32, 64.ie 8,48,96,64 Adding the carryovers we get the answer is 13824
This is cube of 97 so there are ,6 digits in the question and since bigger digit the answer will have 6 digits. 9, 3,927,972 73
567added to its double gives 1701 ,same way 441 added to its double 882 gives 1323 then adding all together gives 912673
In the coming classes cubing by Yavadunam sutra we will study. Thank you .Subscribe

11th Lesson -Nikhilam sutra-corollaries

11th Lesson of  mathematics tricks and fun       Hello friends ,today we are going to stud y Nikhilam Sutra in multiplication. I am Dr Prema b sejekan.  Nikhilam Sutra says Nikhilam Navatascharamam Dasatah.Means All from Nine and Last from Ten . Nikhilam sutra has upasutras corollaries and sub-corollaries.All of them and their application  in multiplication will be discussed here.  Here  applications of Nikhilam Sutra in general is shown.Let us take the first among the 7 examples. In this, the first question is  9 times 9.working base is 10 . So complement of 9 from 10 is 1.   1×1 is 1 and  9-1 is 8. The answer is 81.2nd example is 7× 6 , so complement of  7 from 10 is 3. Complement of 6 is 4 so we will write 7-3× by 6-4 so ,3×4 is 12 and 7-4,is 3 .Adding the carry overs answer is 42.  Rest all examples are with different bases ie  100,1000 base  done in the similar way. ...
