cube roots in general- mathematics Tricks and Fun

Cube roots in general - mathematics Tricks and Fun
In this class we will be studying cube roots in general
I am doctor Prema B DpSejekan, mathematics tricks
and fun. in the previous class we have finished the
cube roots of exact cubes. if you have not seen that
video it
will be advisable to see that .the link is given below .

In extracting the cube root of a number, first count
the digits and convert into 3 digit groups and end
 digits
even if comes as 2 or 2 digits consider as single
 group.
We should always recollect the cubes of unit digits.

Algebraic explanation for the the cube roots is given
here and the cube root has two digits we will use
 the
a plus b whole cube derivation and when 3 digits
a + b + c whole cube and its derivatives will be used
 same way
for 4 a + b + c + D whole cube and its derivatives.
A few examples are shown.

In finding the cube roots there are different
methods. general principle single digit method
 that is 3 digits
give 1 cube root now so first 3 digit are taken in 1
digit method and in double digit method we use 6
digits of
the number ie 2 digits of cube root derived tigether In
the third method,we.divide the whole number by 8 and make it small and exttract the cube root and derived
cube root is multiplied by the cube root of 8 that is 2.
4 when cube root of a small digital like cube root of
2 cube root of 3 it is difficult so you multiply that
with
cube of 2 cube of 3 ,cube of 4,or Cuba 5 and make it
 in
the exceptionally bigger number and find the cube
root and once the cube root is found we divide that number
to get the actual cube root the four methods are
 shown
 in the slides

Here there 12 digits ie we will get 4 digits in theCR.
this
we are dividing by unit digit method.ie first 355 is
taken cube of 7 is smaller than 355 then balance 12 carried
over to zero.but 120 is smaller than 147 we put 0 on quotient side and add 4 also so that actual dividend is 1204 now 3ab2 we have to use since b is zero answer
is zero so the AD is 1204 we divide this by 147 we get
8 as quotient. subtract ,1176 from 1204 we get28
which is carried over to ,5 again divide by ,6abc+b but
 b is zero
so we AD is 285 which on dividing with 147 we get
1 as quotient and balance138 carried over and
divided by6

Here 2 digit method of division is shown ie totally 6
digits are taken as first step .but the divisor becomes
 big .here to divide.

Here division by 8 is shown so that the number be
comes smaller and then divide as usual. After this
you multiply the product by cube root of 8 ie 2 her
we have divided thrice with 8 So 2×2×2 ie 8 .so on multiplying with 8 we get 9256..we can use this only
with even numbers.

Here we have to find cube root of 2 .because the digit
is small we make it bigger by multiplying with 53 and
then divide after getting the product divide it with 5.
In the coming classes we will study auxillary fractions
 and recurring
Decimals. Thank you subscribe to my channel

11th Lesson -Nikhilam sutra-corollaries

11th Lesson of  mathematics tricks and fun       Hello friends ,today we are going to stud y Nikhilam Sutra in multiplication. I am Dr Prema b sejekan.  Nikhilam Sutra says Nikhilam Navatascharamam Dasatah.Means All from Nine and Last from Ten . Nikhilam sutra has upasutras corollaries and sub-corollaries.All of them and their application  in multiplication will be discussed here.  Here  applications of Nikhilam Sutra in general is shown.Let us take the first among the 7 examples. In this, the first question is  9 times 9.working base is 10 . So complement of 9 from 10 is 1.   1×1 is 1 and  9-1 is 8. The answer is 81.2nd example is 7× 6 , so complement of  7 from 10 is 3. Complement of 6 is 4 so we will write 7-3× by 6-4 so ,3×4 is 12 and 7-4,is 3 .Adding the carry overs answer is 42.  Rest all examples are with different bases ie  100,1000 base  done in the similar way. ...
