There are patterns like these arising from arithmatic progression, geometric pro...

cube roots in general- mathematics Tricks and Fun

Cube roots in general - mathematics Tricks and Fun In this class we will be studying cube roots in general  I am doctor Prema B DpSejekan, mathematics tricks  and fun. in the previous class we have finished the  cube roots of exact cubes. if you have not seen that  video it  will be advisable to see that .the link is given below .  In extracting the cube root of a number, first count  the digits and convert into 3 digit groups and end  digits  even if comes as 2 or 2 digits consider as single  group. We should always recollect the cubes of unit digits. Algebraic explanation for the the cube roots is given  here and the cube root has two digits we will use  the  a plus b whole cube derivation and when 3 digits  a + b + c whole cube and its derivatives will be used  same way  for 4 a + b + c + D whole cube and its derivatives. A few examples are shown.  In finding the cube roots there a...

Cube roots of exact cubes.24 mathematics tricks and fun

Cube roots of exact cubes.24 mathematics tricks and fun Hello friends today we are going to study how quickly we can derive cube roots of small to big numbers. I am Dr Prema B Sejekan .This is the 24th class of mathematics tricks and fun. Now what is a cube root? In simple words,Cube root of a number is a number which when multiplied three times,  by itself gives the number. Cube root of 8 is 2 and cube  of 2 is 8. Similarly cube root of 27 is 3 and cube of 3 is  27.    So to find the cube root quickly we should have a  working knowledge of the cubes of at least unit  digits. Now let us recollect them again.           1,. 1. 6. 216                       2. 8. 7. 343                       3. 27. 8. 512       ...

Square roots of non-perfect square , Mathematics Tricks and Fun 23

Square roots of non-perfect square , Mathematics  Tricks and Fun 23 Hello friends, today we are going to study how to derive  the square roots of nonperfect squares. This is the 23rd class of Mathematics Tricks and Fun. I am Dr Prema B Sejekan.  In this example we have to derive the square of 52443907.This is an eight digit number. So in the answer we will have 4 digits and rest will be in decimals.Since even number take first two digits ie 52.Find a digit the square of which is near to 52 ie 7.Now put seven on quotient side and 49 placed below 52 balance 3 in front  of 4. Double of 7 ie 14 is taken as the divisor place it on the outer side and diary dividing 34 with 14 we will put 2 on quotient side and 28placed below 34 balance 6 we  will put in front of 4 to form 64.Now square of 2 is 4 ,  deduct 4 from 64 ,we will get 60 which when divided by  14 gives 4 as quotient.4×14=56.balance of 56 from 60  is 4 placed beside 3 to g...

square root tricks by Vedic maths

square root tricks by vedic maths Hello friends in this 22 nd class on mathematics tricks and fun today we will learn how to find the square root  by Vedic Maths I am Dr Prema b sejekan.. Armed with straight division and Urdhwa Tiryak sutra we will quickly solve the problems easily. This is just a reminder how to do squaring using Urdhwa Tiryak sutra.when two digits square of the first digit then multiply the given two digits and double the product ,  when 3 digits twice the product of the first and third  digit added to the square of the middle digit, when four digits twice the product of the first and last digits added to  twice the product of the middle two digits. Now coming to the principles of finding the square root, First arrange into gps of two, If there is one extra single digit that will be counted as a separate gp, The number of digits in the square root will be same as the number of groups thus made. In the case of pure decimals the number...

Straight division by Vedic maths ,mathematics Tricks and Fun 21

Straight division by Vedic maths mathematics Tricks and Fun  21 Hello friends, this is the 21st class on mathematics  tricks and fun.I am Dr Prema B Sejekan.Division by  Vedic maths is easy using mostly single unit digits . so one need to know multiplication table up to 9 only  and mostly addition and subtraction.we have  discussed division using Nikhilam and paravartya  sutra and in the  Last class we have discussed on  straight division by dwajanga Sutra.  This is continuation of the same but using long  numbers.I will recommend everybody to go through  my earlier videos on division especially the one   previous to this. I will try my best to explain again. Here we have 7031985 as dividend to be divided by  823. As said earlier we will put 8 and above 8 we will  write 23 since two digits at the top in the divisor we  will keep a gap between the last two digits and the  front 5.sin...
