Armed with straight division and Urdhwa Tiryak sutra we will quickly solve the problems easily. This is just a reminder how to do squaring using Urdhwa Tiryak sutra.when two digits square of the first digit then multiply the given two digits and double the product ,  when 3 digits twice the product of the first and third  digit added to the square of the middle digit,when four digits twice the product of the first and last digits added to  twice the product of the middle two digits. Now coming to the principles of finding the square root, First arrange into gps of two, If there is one extra single digit that will be counted as a separate gp, The number of digits in the square root will be same as the number of groups thus made.   Straight division by Vedic maths mathematics Tricks and Fun  21 Hello friends, this is the 21st class on mathematics  tricks and fun.I am Dr Prema B Sejekan.Division by  Vedic maths is easy using mostly single unit digits . so one need to know multiplication table up to 9 only  and mostly addition and subtraction.we have  discussed division using Nikhilam and paravartya  sutra and in the  Last class we have discussed on  straight division by dwajanga Sutra.  This is continuation of the same but using long  numbers.I will recommend everybody to go through  my earlier videos on division especially the one   previous to this. Here,we are using the digits of  the divisor , in 2 groups.ie if 73, we write 7, 3 is written above it. and divide as described . Here we have two examples.The first one 4096 to be divided by 64As said earlier the divisor we will write as 6with 4written above it. we will arrange the dividend  into two groups. 409 and second gp with single digit  since the top one of the divisor is single digit.now we  will take first 2 digits of the divisor 40 to be divided by 6.we 6x6=36 which is written on the top of 40.Quotient  6 written below .now balance 4 written near 9.so it becomes 49.now we take 4 and multiply with 6 which gives 24 written below 49 and bance 25.This 25 is ...

Division using paravartya sutra 19 mathematics  Tricks and Fun   Hello friends, we are going to continue studying   division. This is the 19th lesson of mathematics  tricks and fun tutorial I am Dr Prema B Sejekan. We studied in the earlier class , Nikhilam sutra which is  used when dividing with big digits like 6,7,8,9 . Since  the complement of these digits are small, the division becomes easier. Now how will we divide with small  digit numbers? Here comes the paravartya sutrafor our help .  Paravartya yojayet means transpose and apply.we  use this when divisors are with small digit numbers. we have to change the sign with change of side I have shown here.
