9th LessonSquaring of numbers

9th Lesson mathematics Tricks and Fun Hello friends , I am Dr Prema B Sejekan In this we are going to recapitulate the various methods available to us in the squaring of numbers by Vedic Mathematics. First we will practice again the squaring of numbers with same digits using the special code . What is the special code?“One more, one less. . Examples given are. - square of ”9999   9× 9 = 81. We will place 8 on unit place on multiplicand side and 1 on unit place on multiplier side.***8 ***1Now one more than 8 is 9 so three 9 s beside 8 and one !ess than 1 is 0. So three zeroes beside 1.Answer is 99980001 Same way square of 3333 , ,3×3 is 09 So***0 ***9.o nemore than0 is 1 and 1 less than 9 is 8 final answer is 11108889 Square of 6666 - 6×6= 36 .we arrange as said earlier ***3 ***6. One more than 3 is 4 and OneLess than6 is 5 so final answer is 444355556 Using the arithmetic progression method from both sides .count the digits first. Totally 10 digits. . 1×1 is 01 In...

8th Lesson of Mathematics Tricks and Fun

8th Lesson of Mathematics Tricks and Fun Hello friends this is the 8 lesson of mathematics tricks and fun. I am Dr Prema B Sejekan. We are going to study in this class on squaring and multiplication of numbers with digits in random. According to the Sutra Antyayor Dasake pe if in units place you get   5 + 5, 7 + 3, 8 + 2 , 6 + 4 , 9 + 1 that is unit place digits added together if you get 10 and the second clause says in the tens place you get 1 + 1, 2 + 2, 3 + 3 that is the same digits .If these conditions are met with , then add 1 to tens place one digit and multiply as shown in the examples. This is a sub corollary of Ekadhikena purvena which itself is a corollary of Nikhilam sutra Here we have to find out the square of 25 .5+5 is 10 , and in ten's place it is 2 ie same digit . So we will increase one 2 to 3 and multiply straight. Ie 5×5= 25 we will write next to it in 100s place we will write 6 ie 3×2 Answer is 625. How easy and quick it is. In the second e...

7th Lesson Mathematics Tricks and Fun squaring of same digit numbers by arithmetic progression

7 th Lesson Mathematics Tricks  and Fun squaring of same digit numbers by arithmetic progression  Hello friendds,Welcome to the 7 lesson of mathematics tricks and fun I am Dr Prema B Sejekan .In this class, we will be studying, the squaring of numbers with the same digits. In fact this is a continuation of the previous class where we have studied squaring of numbers lik e111, 2222 555, 4444 , Here we will deal with 7777,888, and multiplication of same ddigits but unequal.!ike 7777× 77777,2222× 22:33333× 333 etcc In this slide squaring of 777 is done. First 7 × 7= 49 . Now write 4 on the lateral side of the multiplicand and 9 on thhe lateral side of the multiplier. 4+9= 13 So start adding 13 to 4 . This is 17 Again add 13 to 17 =30. We will stop here since only 3 digits.we wtll start with 9 on the multiplier side add 13 to 9.we get 22, to this add 13 we get 35.So adding , total is 603729   Here there are 14 digits totall y. 7 on the multiplicand...

6th Lesson- squaring of numbers -arithmetic progression

6th Lesson Mathematics Tricks and Fun squaring of numbers with same digits by arithmetic progression Hello friends   I am Dr Prema B Sejekan .This is the 6th lesson of Mathematics and Fun tutorial .Here we will learn the squaring of 111, 222,444,555. Once we know the technique , however long the number with same digits we can square it. In this slide squaring of 111 is shown .first we will count the digits in the question.totally 6 digits.so we will mark 6 dots.then we will multiply first lateral digits. 1×1= 01. we will place 0 on the multiplicand side lateral end and 1 on the multiplier side lateral end. Thus we start from both sides. Now add 1 to 0 =1, 1+1=2. Then we count from multiplier side 1+1=2, 2+1=3 so the answer is 012 321 .the second question 1111×1111 total 8 digits. Answer is 0123 4321. In the third example , one digit is extra on one side so the answer is 01 2 21 ie extra digits place will be occupied by 2(0+2=2 or 1+1=2). Another example   1...

5th Lesson of mathematics Tricks and Fun

5th Lesson of Mathematics Tricks and Fun,squaring of 3 and 6digit numbers using the special code This is the fifth lesson of mathematics tricks and fun tutorial I am Dr Prema B Sejekan. In this we are going to study the squaring of 3s and 6s using the special code - one more one less. 99 X 99 is equal to 9801. 999 X 999 is 998001. same principle One more One Less is used in the multiplication of  444X 999 and when the numbers are in excess on one side , either 9 is in extra or the number like here 4 extra andthe answer is 443 9 in the middle and 556 what is the square of sixty six and another question what is the square of 666 . How quickly can we do this first we will take one 6 each from the unit position of both sides.6 x 6 is 36 so will put three on the unit position multiplicand side and 6 on the unit position multiplier side. Then One more One less code we will apply one more than 3 is 4.1 less than 6 is 5. So the answer is 4356 In the second question calc...

Lesson 4. mathematics Tricks and Fun(English Hindi,Malayalam)

Lesson 4. mathematics Tricks and Fun -multiplicayion with 9  of numbers with digits in random(English Hindi,Malayalam Hello friends, welcome to the 4th lesson of mathematics tricks and fun. I am Dr Prema B Sejekan. Today we are going to study the multiplication of nines with numbers having digits in random. In the first example 776 is multiplied by 999 How to do this quickly. 999 means one less than 1000 .So first multiply with 1000 and deduct once 776 from the product ..By practice you will be able to deduct 1 from 776 and subtract quickly 776 from 1000 and write the answer. In the second example, the multiplicand has five digits and only four nines on multiplier side. In such calculations,if you practice what I have taught now, you won't make mistakes. .The answer is Here in the first example , we have to find the square of 998 .We will do this by Nikhilam sutra. multiply straight and add or subtract cross wise accordingly. Here first find the base Since 998 is near 1000...

Lesson 3 mathematics Tricks And Fun(English,Hindi,Malayalam languages)

Lesson 3-  Mathematics Tricks and Fun                                    (English,  Hindi, Malayalam)  Hello friends, I am Dr Prema B Sejekan. Welcome to the third lesson of mathematics tricks and fun.I hope you have attended my earlier classes and know about the special code, I've taught. In the last, Republic Day special video, I have explained in detail and it is a must watch video. In all these , we are multiplying two digits with one 9 so there is one extra digit that is in 22 x 9 Here one 2 is extra. In 11 x 9 , one 1 is extra. So, that extra digit’s place s taken by 9 and it is occupying the middle. 11×9 answer is 099. 22 x 9 answer is 198, 44 x 9 answer is 396.   33 x 9 answer is 297 . In all these nine is in the middle and the product of the multiplication of the digit with 9 is written on either side of the middle nine.   222 X 99...
